Twelve percent, and the only domain the guide tells you to go and build something for rather than read about

Weight: 12% of the exam.

This domain is about setting things up for other people to use, rather than using them yourself. It is also the only one Section 7 tells you to actually build something for before sitting the exam.

The objectives, as the guide states them

"Configure Claude Projects with instructions and knowledge sources"

"Manage uploaded knowledge and connectors (e.g., Google Drive, Gmail)"

"Create effective system-level instructions"

"Inform, maintain, and update Claude configurations, knowledge sources, and instructions"

The words that set this domain apart

The last objective carries three words that appear nowhere else.

  inform    tell people what has been set up
  maintain  keep it working
  update    change it when the source changes

All three are about life after configuration, not configuration. Items here often do not ask how to set something up; they ask what to do when the source document changes, or the team does.

System-level instructions are not prompts

The third objective is about instructions that sit a layer above the prompts of domain 1.

The difference is scope and lifespan. A prompt dies with the task; a system-level instruction outlives it and applies to everyone using that Project. Which is why "maintain" belongs to this domain and not to domain 1.

Connectors drag domain 6 in with them

The second objective names two connectors: Google Drive and Gmail.

Both are sources that certainly contain personal information. Connecting one is therefore not only a technical question; it runs straight into domain 6's objective

"Apply data sensitivity, regulatory, and privacy considerations"

Items that set up a connector and ask what to do first usually have their answer on the data-suitability side, not the connection-steps side.

The guide tells you to build

Section 7 contains one step that is more plainly an instruction to act than any of the others.

"Build real workflows: configure a Project with instructions and knowledge sources, and evaluate outputs for accuracy and bias"

That single sentence spans domain 5 and domain 2 — the first half is the configuration, the second is the checking. The hands-on lesson in this course is built from that sentence alone.

When it lies

"Configure it once and you are done." The fourth objective contains maintain and update. A configuration nobody tends is one that slowly becomes wrong.

"The more documents in the knowledge base, the better." The guide does not say that, and the objective's verb is manage, which includes taking things out.

"Connectors are purely technical." The examples the guide chooses are Gmail and Google Drive, which raise data sensitivity immediately.
